The goal of our student ministry is to lead students in building a close, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the study of God’s word, worship, fellowship, and ministry, and to reach out to teens who do not yet know Christ.

Our student ministry is for all youth in middle school and high school. Students meet together on Wednesday nights for a time of worship, Bible study, and activities, and on Sunday mornings for Bible study. There is also a Sunday evening group time during the school year.

Wednesday night is the main gathering of our student ministry. Students are invited to come at 5:30 for ‘Chill time’ as we gather to participate in activities in the gym or just hang out with friends. Our worship time starts at 6:30 in the youth room with praise music, mixer games, object lessons and the preaching of God’s word. After the worship time we meet in the gym or on the ball field for an organized game of football, gatorball, basketball, 9 square in the air, or whatever game we come up with. All Wednesday night youth activities are finished by 8:30.

Our big summer event is summer camp. It is a week-long trip to a student camp, usually out of state, in which students participate in intense Bible study and group building activities. It is a time of getting spiritually refocused on our relationship with Jesus, surrounded by activities, worship, and fellowship. Camp is definitely the highlight of the summer.
Other summer activities include day trips, service projects, and times of fellowship. Youth are encouraged to attend all worship services on Wednesday and Sunday including Sunday evening
